On the
left, the farm buildings which
include the House
for rent (8), the Cider-house (c) and its Press.
The buildings in the background form the main body of the Castle and on
the ground floor are
-the Kitchen
(a)
-the Large
Drawing Room (b) and the main Staircase
and on the first floor
-the Chambre de Parade (2) and its
Boudoir
-the Louis
XVI Suite (5) and the Yellow Room.
The Chapel
(9) is concealed by the 450 year-old linden tree. |

picture is also available, without the numbers, on the History

The
north wing (on the far right)
holds the Raoul
de Bonnemare (6) and the Marie
de France (7) Rooms.
In the rear of the photo one can distinguish very clearly, the
ditch
(“saut de loup”), which while
preventing wild
animals from
entering the property does in no way break the view from the castle.
Don't miss either the surprising curiosities such as the Roasting
Spit designed by Leonardo da Vinci or the very rare roof
framework from Philibert Delorme. |
