This suite was magnificently decorated in 1777 by Charles Leblond a member of the Comte de Provence’s household (the King’s brother, known as “Monsieur, Frère du Roi”).
The Yellow Drawing Room
The Yellow Drawing Room, next to the Louis XVI Bedroom, is enlightened by its double exposition (to the East, on the entrance yard and lawn, and to the West, on the park behind the Château). It is furnished with a few tables and armchairs, with a piano available.
A fireplace of stone and bricks is surmounted by a large mirror, widening the space even further.
The Bathroom
The Bathroom combines modernity (bath tub and washbasin) to the ancient style of the paintings, such as the "monkey over mirror", typical from the XVIIIth, done during the restoration - just like the fake relief outlines on the bath tub - by a local artist.
