The kitchen, on the ground floor of the chateau, is a large welcoming room that dates back to the end of the 16th century. The ground is paved with the original stones that have been placed directly on the floor.
The chimney, which is typically Renaissance, stretches across the wall and has three archways.
• The fireplace could be used in three different ways: as a spit, a potence, a pastry oven, or an oven for smoking meat.
