The Boudoir

Boudoir : small living room, dedicated to ladies private use

Boudoir

In the adjoining Boudoir, decoration represents "Grotesques" inspired from Antiquity, dating from the XVII^th, with characters, animals, plants and flowers on most part of the walls.

The frescoes of the upper section show the gods of Olympus.

The panelling of the lower section shows a representation of "childhood games" made from drawings from Jacques Stella (*) in grisaille and trompe-l’oeil. representing one of the widest playlets of this kind in a single room.

The parquet floor is original. (parquet Versailles).
