| The Louis
XVI Suite and the Yellow Drawing Room |
This
suite was magnificently decorated in 1777 by Charles Leblond a member
of the Comte de Provence’s household (the King’s
brother, known as
“Monsieur, Frère du Roi”).

Stucco
panels show different
activities of man, surrounded by
pilasters and exquisitely sculpted floral garlands executed directly
on a wall of "matiffa", a mixture of lime mortar, animal hair and glue. |
